First a beach ceremony, then a Zoom call: How Kathrin Dell-Lenz lives her principle "Everything is love" as a business compass - and remains professional and reliable with an Office Club business address in Hanover.

"I wanted a stable business home base in central Germany that I could reach quickly from anywhere without being tied to a fixed place of residence."

- You work all over the world as a wedding expert and business coach. That sounds glamorous and requires a lot of organisation. What do you do to help people have the best day of their lives?
I translate emotions into structure so that a wedding day not only looks beautiful, but also feels safe, genuine and unique. In free wedding ceremonies, I accompany wedding couples from the exchange of initial ideas to the realisation: the dramaturgy of the ceremony, ritual design, words, timing and the interaction of all service providers. I am often the creative director, calming influence and troubleshooter when something spontaneously goes wrong. I also advocate for inclusive weddings and international weddings: because love doesn't fit into boxes.
As a business coach, I utilise the same strengths that have sustained me for so many years: Sharpening values, specifying offers, clearly drawing target groups and building communication in such a way that it convinces. And all without pressure. This creates sustainable customer relationships and a business that doesn't feel like tactics, but like inner leadership. My compass: everything is love. That also applies to me, my business and the mission behind it. Your work is very varied, but what does a typical working week look like for you?
There is no such thing as a "typical" working week for me! I work in blocks that shift seasonally throughout the year. In winter, my focus is more on marketing, sales and concept work, while during the wedding season, a lot of realisations and coaching take place at the weekend. I have fixed slots for business coaching appointments so that planning and reliability are also guaranteed on the road. In terms of organisation, I keep my processes digital so that I can act regardless of where I am. I'm easy to reach for queries without being tied to traditional office hours. This creates freedom with structure: flexible in lifestyle, stable in business.
- What was your most courageous professional decision?
That was definitely the step from a very well-paid, secure job in the public sector to self-employment - right into the free market and into my own vision. I didn't just want to "work", I wanted to bring a message into the world that really touched people: Everything is love. Detached from social expectations. With self-employment came further courageous decisions: a stable income with seasonal employment, taking full responsibility myself and managing my money, my business and myself much more consciously. I have learnt that freedom does not come about by chance, but through clear decisions and structures. And it is precisely this inner clarity that I pass on to other self-employed people today. - Why did you become a member of the Office Club?
Because I chose independence and needed a professional, reliable anchor. I wanted a stable business home base in central Germany that I could reach quickly from anywhere without being tied to a fixed place of residence. My business address in the Office Club Hannover gives me this base without my company "floating freely". At the same time, everything looks clear and reputable to the outside world, regardless of whether I'm in Germany or travelling. This takes a lot of pressure off mentally, because I know that everything is running reliably in the background. - What Office Club services do you use and how do you benefit from them?
I mainly use the business address, the scanning and digitisation service for mail and the ability to quickly manage processes remotely. This allows me to check documents, respond and make decisions regardless of time and place. It is also very helpful that letters and parcels are accepted and that I have a fixed point of contact that I can rely on in the Office Club Hannover. If necessary, documents can be easily printed or forwarded without me having to organise infrastructure on the go.
I remember a last-minute job with around 100 pages: I checked the documents in a café in Porto in Portugal, the taxi to the airport had already been ordered - and the team in Hanover reliably took care of the rest. That's what real freedom means to me: being mobile and still being professionally organised. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the smooth service and uncomplicated cooperation so far. - What has been your biggest professional learning moment so far?
One of my biggest learnings: visibility and success only become stable when I no longer act out of pressure, but out of clarity. In the past, I sometimes thought I had to "do more" to be sure. The game changer was to make better decisions. A challenging phase showed me that good processes are not unromantic, but caring: for myself, for customers and for my team. I learnt to set boundaries before things get heated and to communicate expectations so clearly that relationships become easier. Today, this is leadership in action for me. And yes: love also shows itself in the fact that things are organised in a sustainable way. - You work as a digital nomad, opening your laptop at the beach bar: no problem. Is that a curse or a blessing for a good work-life balance?
Both! And that's exactly why it's so valuable. The biggest blessing is freedom: I can work where I'm creative and clear, and manage my energy better. The potential curse is that "working anywhere" quickly becomes "always working" if you don't set boundaries. That's why I work with fixed slots and conscious offline times so that my mind can really switch off. Exercise, the sea, walks and mobile phone-free phases help me to re-centre myself. For me, work-life balance doesn't come from a place, but from self-leadership.

Empathy and clarity: I don't just listen to what people say, but also to what they actually need. Added to this is my ability to translate emotions into structure. Emotion becomes a decision, chaos becomes a system. I am very responsible and reliable, especially when things get turbulent. That creates trust. At the same time, I have the courage to take a stand, even if not everyone likes it. And I am consistently curious: I am constantly developing myself further because I believe that true entrepreneurship is always growth from within. And I wholeheartedly pass this on to my Mentis.
