Meet Paul - our member of the month in August!
Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
Hi! So my name is Paul, I was born in Berlin but moved to Norway for a couple of years. After high school I came back here to study.
What made you come to Berlin?
I came back to Berlin because living in a small town with -31 degrees during the winter just makes you wanna move somewhere else. Also, it can get pretty boring if you don't live in a big city over there and since all my friends live here as well it wasn't a hard decision to make.
What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
I am a visual development artist for the movie and game industry. In a nutshell that means I draw how things should look like when a movie or a game is in pre/production. If you want to, you can check out some stuff that I did here.
Since when do you work at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
I started working here during the end of May I think.
What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
For me, it's the fact that I can be more focused on what I am doing if I have a separate space for my work.
Which questions/problems could you help your coworking neighbor with?
Not that much I guess. If someone happens to need illustrations, concepts or 3D visualizations for their projects I could help out. Otherwise, if your Google translator doesn't work and you need something translated into Norwegian I can help out as well.
Do you have favorite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend/consider especially for people coming here?
There are tons of places in Berlin that I love but I guess Mauerpark has been one of my favorite spots here since I was a child. What I like about Berlin is that you can always discover new areas and streets around here and feel like you don't know the city at all.

Thanks a lot and all the best to you!
