Meet Johannes - our member of the month in August!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
Hi, my name is Johannes. I am originally from the Black Forest, in the southwest of Germany, but also lived in Uruguay and Spain.

What made you come to Berlin?
I've been living in Berlin since the early 90s because of the fascinating spirit of optimism and change in that times. But I also came to Berlin for my studies in Latin American history at the Freie Universität.

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
After many years as a press officer in a political association I became self-employed as a communications consultant last year. I really enjoy the freedom now! I advise companies and organizations on their communication strategies toward the media and politics. My goal is, of course, to find many new and exciting clients!

Since when do you cowork at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
I've been at Office Club for a year, usually two or three times a week.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
I enjoy working in the inspirational atmosphere where I'm much more productive than in the Home Office. At the Office Club I feel very at home, of course, because of the wonderful staff and the fantastic milk coffee :)

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?
I would like to support you in all matters of communication with the media and can also provide suggestions for difficult texts.

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
Since 9 years I live in Potsdam, so I can highly recommend to look at the wonderful parks there. My favorite place is the shore of the Havel on a summer evening.
