Hi Elizabeth, member of the month in February!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Elizabeth Carttar, and I’m from Kansas City in the U.S.

What made you come to Berlin?
I moved here in January to start the Berlin office of Global Prairie, a social impact marketing firm.

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
Global Prairie was founded in 2008 on the idea that if we did great work for clients, we could give back to our communities in a really meaningful way. Since day one, we’ve donated 10% of our profits to the communities where we live and work. We serve clients in four key practice areas – sustainability and agriculture, consumer products and food, healthcare, and public affairs and government – across the full marketing mix, from advertising to social media and digital to public relations. My role is to serve our Europe-based clients and build our Berlin presence. The near future is focused on all things Berlin!

Since when do you cowork at Office Club?
I began coworking at Office Club within a week of moving to Berlin, so I’ve officially been sitting in this space for two weeks now.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
There are so many benefits but the most significant to me is the ability to draw on the energy and talents of my coworking neighbors. Being new to the city, it’s incredible to have this instant network of great people to collaborate with and get to know.

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?
In just two weeks, my coworking neighbors and the amazing Office Club staff have helped me with everything from identifying freelance talent to registering my Berlin address.

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
I’ve loved everything I’ve experienced so far in Berlin. From the quaint cafes on every corner to the world-class museums, I’m quite convinced you simply can’t go wrong.
