Meet Maja Benke - our member of the month in February!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
Hey, I’m Maja, webdesigner and WordPress-Nerd and from Berlin.

What made you come to Berlin?
I was born here and its still one of my favourite cities in the world.

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
I’m a Webdesigner with a special focus on accessibility and ux. So I create Websites and also blog about it on my blog wp1x1.de.

Also I contribute a lot to the WordPress software and community, as a co-organizer for the Berlin WordPress Meetup and other WordPress related events in Berlin. And I’m a contributor in accessibility and ux aspects for the WordPress software.

Since when do you cowork at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
Since September. First for a few days a month, but now I’m here more regulary.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
The Benefit for me is, to have a working space where I can focus and concentrate on my work and that I can sozialise more with other people.

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?
I could help with WordPress, accessibility, UX and UI.

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
I’m a big fan of the parks and gardens in Berlin. Like Tiergarten, Britzer Garten, Sanssouci, Gärten der Welt, Botanischer Garten and so on. 
My favourite spot in summer is Möhrchenpark.
