Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Noele Hawker and I am from Brighton, England.

What made you come to Berlin?
Life-style choice. My wife (Sarah) and I had visited the city many times and we enjoy the big city benefits and relaxed feel. We also wanted to experience living in a foreign country at some stage so there was only one place under consideration; here we are!

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
My back ground is mathematics and statistics and I'm a freelance SAS Programmer. SAS is a statistics based computer language that I use to crunch down very large databases into a more interpretable form, maybe a graph or a table, for others to view. I enjoy my work and will continue to do this for the foreseeable future so no major plans in the pipeline.

Since when do you cowork at Office Club?
Every week day.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
I spent a number of years working at home and needed a change. Having vibrant up-beat people around me can only be a benefit my work and I cannot ever imagine going back to a home-office now.

Which questions / problems / ideas could you help your coworking neighbour with?
I tend to keep myself to myself on a work level but I hope my smile and happy and approachable nature inspire those around me.

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
Well, it's the summer so the parks and lakes have to get a mention. Weißenee Lake is particularly nice for a swim and is only a cycle ride away from Office Club Prenzlauer Berg. And then when the sun has gone down a cold beer and some chit-chat at the historic Prater Beer Garden; again, very close to Office Club.
