Meet Sofia - our member of the month in September!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Sofia Hafdani and I m from Morocco.

What made you come to Berlin?
I work for an online travel company based in Dubai and expending in Berlin.

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
I work as a data scientist for my current company. Data science is about knowledge and insights' extraction for business applications. It is a combination of Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, and Computer Science.  

Since when do you cowork at Office Club?
I started working at Office Club since May 1st. 

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
It has the great advantage of meeting people from different fields, different backgrounds and nationalities. It provides amazing opportunities of collaboration and learning. 
 
Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with? 
I could help you understand and analyse your data (e.g. reviews of your website on social media, data from production...) to optimize your business decisions.
 
Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
Mauerpark Flea Market: This was absolutely one of the best things I did in Berlin. TONS of people come every Sunday to browse the fleamarket of old and new things, crafts, and food vendors. The variety of both people and wares is great - you could easily spend hours poking around looking at stuff and people watching. 

There are also a lot of street musicians to check out in addition to the famous bearpit karaoke and most were actually great! Definitely check out the flohmarkt if you are in Berlin on a Sunday!
